The Clearaudio Jubilee MM cartridge includes all of Clearaudio‘s know-how regarding moving magnet cartridges.

In order to optimise the performance of this cartridge, the manufacturer provided it with an ultra-rigid body made from the hardest wood there is: “PanzerHolz”.

CLEARAUDIO JUBILEE MM CARTRIDGE: CHARACTERISTICS

So as to keep mechanical resonance to a minimum, Clearaudio conceived a sumptuous extreme hardness multiple wood housing. This high-technology laminate consists of several Baltic birch layers compressed under a pressure of 60 tons. This specific material, which is used on the best Clearaudio turntables, reduces noise and improves dynamic contrasts, low frequency definition and timbre richness. Moreover, this wood species is bullet proof and eliminates most of the resonance and colouration.

The balance between inductance, capacitance and sensitivity allowed to drastically reduce distortion and interference, while increasing the output level and frequency response.

To obtain these results, the coils of the Jubilee MM cartridge were revised and coupled with very powerful magnets.

The stylus is made with precision to obtain a very accurate elliptical profile. It’s mounted on an aluminium cantilever.

These elements constitute a very high-end set with highly suitable playback performance.

Exceptional sorting and close tolerance during the assembly and the selection of components allowed to drastically improve the performance and measurements compared to the model of the previous generation.
