Clearaudio Ovation manual turntable

The Ovation appears both timeless and minimalist. It is designed with a chassis made of a Panzerholz and aluminium sandwich. This chipboard is so dense it is bulletproof!

To eliminate unwanted resonance and vibration, cavities have been filled with 100,000 metal microballs. The POM (Acrylic/resin) 40 mm platter is similar to that of the Performance DC. Its density and very low resonance frequency eliminate any colouration. The platter is supported by the traditional magnetic bronze and ceramic bearing (CMB).

The system is driven by a direct current motor (DC). The speed is controlled by an optical sensor that sends the rotation information to an optical control system. Overall performances are in line with the technical resources used! AMAZING!
