The Transparent Musiclink Plus Balanced XLR interconnect cable is fully symmetrical.

TRANSPARENT MUSICLINK PLUS BALANCED: CONDUCTORS

Since it is completely symmetrical, this means that this interconnect cable uses three conductors of the same design for the hot, cold and ground signal. This third conductor enables separate grounding to provide higher noise reduction than other conventional symmetrical designs that use shielding for this effect.

Its screen is called "floating" and is made of an OFC copper braid and an aluminium strip. This aims to reduce noise and electrical or electromagnetic interference as much as possible.

The conductors are made of OFHC rigid copper. The XLR connectors are gold-plated and assembled by precision hand soldering, with a high silver content solder.

As with all Transparent products, the Musiclink Plus Balanced is equipped with a "Network" box which works as a damper and filter, controlling and stabilizing the resistive, capacitive and inductive phenomena of the conductors.

This one is more or less sophisticated, powerful and imposing according to the level of range of the Musiclink cable.

We find the very dynamic and physical listening of the RCA version, the Transparent The Musiclink Plus interconnect cable.

However, there is a fuller sound scene and deeper, more articulate bass. The noise level is also much lower.
