Monitor Audio Bronze 100 bookshelf speakers

The Monitor Audio Bronze 100 bookshelf speaker is the second model in the range and replaces the famous and deceased Bronze 2.

MONITOR AUDIO BRONZE 100: DESIGN

The Monitor Audio Bronze 100 is designed to work into medium size rooms, and is associated to quite modest amplifiers.

The speakers can be hidden behind a magnetic cover made of Jersey acoustically transparent.

MONITOR AUDIO BRONZE 100: CHARACTERISTICS

The transcription of the bass/midrange is entrusted to an imposing C-CAM speaker of 20cm in diameter, which is pretty rare on a Hi-Fi speaker of this range. The top of the spectrum is processed by a Gold C-CAM dome tweeter.

The bass/reflex load is visible by a port behind the Hi-Fi speaker.

The terminal block allows bi-wiring or bi-amplification, and supports banana plugs, forks and bare wiring.

MONITOR AUDIO BRONZE 100: INSTALLATION

We do not recommend you to fix them to the wall or barricade them between piles of books! The Bronze 100 give better results if they are placed at least 20cm away from the wall.

MONITOR AUDIO BRONZE 100: TEST AND LISTENING

We associated them with an English integrated amplifier of less than 1000 euros.

The bass/midrange speaker and the rather consequent load allow the reproduction of a beautiful amplitude and a surprising bass.

The Monitor Audio Bronze 100 also offer a clear and very detailed restitution.

The dynamics are excellent despite the relatively low, but normal, output for a product of this size. These compact speakers remain impactful and of an excellent precision in the mid-range, associated to a detailed tweeter.

These Monitor Audio Bronze 100 bookshelf speakers are designed for mid-size rooms and high-performance entry-level Hi-Fi systems. The “big sound” enthusiasts will be fully conquered by the typical fullness and sound level.
