For this range, Norstone uses premium materials. The 25 mm thick MDF shelves are covered with beautiful black leather, while the solid black stainless-steel feet and tubes are fitted with damping gaskets. The Norstone Como Base is designed to be used as the foundation of your rack, or on its own as a support for an amplifier or another Hi-Fi component. It features decoupling spikes and ships with counter-spikes. It is built to combine with the other modules in the range, Como I, Como II and Como III.

Can the Como Base be used on its own?

Yes. Designed as the base of the Norstone Como range, the Como Base also works very well as a standalone support for an amplifier or any Hi-Fi component placed close to the floor. Its decoupling spikes and counter-spikes provide stability and protect your floor in both cases.

 How much weight can it hold?

Each level takes up to 50 kg, which easily covers heavy integrated amplifiers and high-end electronics. The Ø50 mm solid stainless-steel structure and the 25 mm MDF shelf ensure excellent rigidity.

 Is it compatible with the other modules in the range?

Yes, that is the whole point of the system. The Como Base acts as the foundation of a scalable rack that you extend with the Como I, Como II and Como III modules, choosing the height you need for each level.

How is it delivered, and why leather on the shelf?

The module arrives ready to set up on its spikes. The leather covering on the shelves, combined with the damping gaskets on the tubes, helps absorb vibration and preserve the performance of your equipment.
