The distinctive feature of the PNP series is that the cartridge comes directly mounted to an exclusive headshell!

It is cast in a composite material stemming from the medical industry. It makes the phono cartridge very rigid and, above all, wards off any vibration and colouration.

Naturally, it has retained all the features of the original Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge.

Ortofon 2M Blue PNP: compatibility

Caution: you will have to check if the 23 g part is compatible with the counterweight of your tonearm.

This mounting style is perfectly compatible with Ortofon, SME and 'S' shaped tonearms for DJ or professional turntables such as Technics SL 1200, 1100, 1700 mk2… and Numark, to name a few.

Ortofon 2M Blue PNP: assembly

On delivery you only need to insert it into the tonearm of your turntable (provided it is compatible) and adjust the tracking force and antiskating.
