Dynavector DV 20X2 L MC cartridge

The DV 20-X2-L is the low output variant of the DV 20-X2-H. With its 0.3 mV, this cartridge was designed to be paired with all RIAA MC preamplifiers on the market or with an MC transformer. Its extremely hard body is made of solid aluminium. Its 6 mm long hardened aluminium cantilever holds a 'Micro Ridge' stylus. This stylus shape with a radius of 2 microns reduces the contact surface with the groove, therefore minimising wear. The sonic performance immediately takes us to Dynavector's world. Surface noise is minimal, no distortion affects the sound quality. The sound stage is both precise and ample, with unparalleled depth. The timbre is beautiful and gives the vocals, string and brass sections a lot of presence and authenticity. The bass is deep, tight and perfectly in place. The top of the spectrum is riddled with details but never harsh. And, as typically with this manufacturer, the dynamics and texture are there.
