Roksan Attessa CD transport

The new Attessa range from the British manufacturer makes Roksan's sound and quality accessible.

The Roksan Attessa CD transport is the only CD drive offered by Roksan. It has been designed to read digital audio information from a CD with the highest possible precision. Of course, it needs to be connected to a DAC or an amplifier equipped with a digital optical or coaxial input.

The front panel, with absolute simplicity, is made of anodized aluminum in black or natural finish.

In the center is the loading tray, flanked on the left by the 4 basic function buttons and on the right by an orange OLED display.

This CD transport allows for very high-quality audio playback of audio CDs. Roksan has focused on simplicity in the design, without unnecessary integrated circuits, adhering closely to the RED Book CD standards.

The Attessa CD transport maximizes data recovery through a system that minimizes the length of the digital signal path. The aim is to reduce jitter as much as possible.

Roksan has also developed custom firmware specifically for the Attessa range.

The Roksan Attessa CD transport offers precise and very clean playback, promoting neutrality and transparency. Of course, the quality of the associated digital-to-analog converter will be crucial.

However, with a DAC integrated into an amplifier, the results are surprising. We also connected it to our reference converter, and the result exceeded our expectations.
