Description

The latest generation of the phono cable, the Atlas Element TT R1, introduces several new innovations for a more subtle, balanced and transparent sound.

ATLAS ELEMENT TT R1: Characteristics

Designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality cables dedicated to analogue playback, and in particular for turntables fitted with an RCA output.

It uses high-purity OFC (Ohno Continuous Casting) conductors with an expanded PEF dielectric. It is built around a pseudo-balanced configuration of the two channels, with braided OFC shielding.

One of the key elements is the connector. Over ten years ago, Atlas found that the traditional CNC-machined, metal-bodied RCA connector had a weak point, causing a significant loss of performance. Their research showed that polycarbonate, and later ABS, delivered better performance for the connector body. This led to the creation of a low-dielectric-constant, low-mass, non-conductive RCA connector, while retaining the robustness and stability of a CNC-machined product. The connection to the conductors is crimped rather than soldered. This cable is supplied with a flat-fork ground cable.

ATLAS ELEMENT TT R1: Test and Listening

The Atlas Element TT R1 phono cable is extremely quiet and perfectly suited to the very low output levels of moving magnet and moving coil cartridges. It represents a significant improvement over the cables supplied as standard with entry-level turntables. The Atlas Element TT R1 delivers a rich, balanced sound that fully immerses you in the music. Its value for money is exceptional.

FAQ: Everything you need to know before buying the Atlas Element TT R1 cable
