This diamond-cut aluminum sub-platter offers very tight tolerances, significantly superior to the original model.

Additionally, it adds mass to the entire platter and drive system, resulting in extra damping of noise and unwanted resonances. The improved production tolerances and added mass increase inertia and stability, thereby enhancing overall speed accuracy. This also helps to reduce Wow & Flutter.
