This power supply is compatible with and designed for Rega products or electronics powered by 16v AC, such as Pro-ject turntables with 16v AC and phono preamps with 16v AC.
SBooster Botw 16vAC: Enclosure
The power supply comes in the form of a block in PVC with a somewhat industrial look. Its dimensions are already imposing for its function, although it remains easy to accommodate. Its weight of nearly 2kg speaks volumes about the quality of manufacturing.
At the back, you find the mains cable input with a IEC 14 form. The power supply is delivered with a standard cord, but SBooster strongly encourages upgrading to a higher quality mains cable.
On the front, there is a shielded cable 95cm long. The BOTW comes with 4 adapters allowing connection to 98% of products on the market:

Next to the output, a green LED indicates power on. A small switch allows adjusting the brightness of this LED.
SBooster Botw 16vAC: Technology
The SBooster Botw 16vAC power supply delivers perfectly stable and silent current. The current purification starts immediately upon entering the power supply. A two-stage mains filter and a ground choke eliminate high-frequency pollution before the current reaches the transformer. The transformer is a custom-made audio quality transformer with electrostatic shielding. It is completely oversized and offers 50 vA. This transformer is also magnetically shielded to avoid radiating onto any nearby components or cables. It is paired with high-quality polypropylene film capacitors, fast diodes, and precision regulators.
The electronic design of the Botw 16vAC power supply is innovative. It can provide 50% more energy to the electronics used while consuming up to 35% less energy than the original power supply.
This power supply always provides enough "clean" power to the audio device to ensure stable and continuous performance of components and circuits to achieve the best possible audio performance.

On a turntable, this is certainly more subtle than on a phono preamp, but it remains audible and perfectly perceptible.
