SBooster Botw 5vDC Linear Power Supply: Enclosure
The power supply comes in the form of a PVC block with a somewhat industrial look. Its dimensions are already imposing for its function, although it remains easily accommodated. Its weight of nearly 2kg speaks volumes about the quality of manufacturing.
At the back, you will find the IEC 14 mains cable input. The power supply is delivered with a standard cord, but Booster strongly encourages upgrading with a higher quality mains cable.
On the front, there is a shielded cable 95 cm in length. The SBooster comes with 4 adapters allowing connection to 98% of products on the market.
Next to the output, a green LED indicates power on. A small switch allows adjusting the brightness of this LED.

The SBooster Botw P&P MKII 5v/6v DC power supply provides a perfectly stable and silent current. The current purification starts immediately upon entering the power supply. A two-stage mains filter and a ground choke eliminate high-frequency pollution before the current reaches the transformer. The transformer is a custom-made audio quality transformer with electrostatic shielding. It is completely oversized and offers 50 vA. This transformer is also magnetically shielded to prevent radiation to any nearby components or cables. It is paired with high-quality polypropylene film capacitors, fast diodes, and precision regulators.
The electronic design of the SBooster Botw P&P MKII 5v/6v DC power supply is innovative. It is capable of providing 50% more energy to the used electronics while consuming up to 35% less energy than the original power supply.
