Audio Technica AT-VM95SH MM cartridge

This new VM95 range from the Japanese manufacturer replaces all the entry-level cartridges from Audio Technica. The Audio Technica AT-VM95SH cartridge is the fifth model in this series.

AUDIO TECHNICA AT-VM95SH: GENERATOR

The 6 proposed Hi-Fi cartridges models have the same generator.

It is composed of a simple copper coil unlike the VM 500 and 700 ranges having a dual coil generator.

To facilitate the mounting, the body is equipped with a brass threaded inserts that allows work without nut and offers an excellent tightening torque.

AUDIO TECHNICA AT-VM95SH: STYLUS

The difference between the 6 cartridges of the VM95 range is their stylus which is identified by its color code. Of course, the reproduction quality and the price are justified following the quality and profile of the proposed stylus.

Here colored in brown, it is a Shibata stylus. It is designed for quality turntables and equipped with a performing tonearm.

The stylus profile of this AT-VM95SH gives a precise and nuanced restitution, with few surface noises.

AUDIO TECHNICA AT-VM95SH: SPARE STYLUS

This Audio Technica AT-VM95SH MM cartridge can be replaced by the original stylus: the AT-VMN95SH.

You can also add a 78 rpm stylus, the AT-VMN95SP model. Or two stylus for a DJ use: ATN-XP5 and ATN-XP7.
