The Transparent Musiclink Super Balanced XLR interconnect cable has a fully balanced conception.

TRANSPARENT MUSICLINK SUPER BALANCED: CONDUCTORS

As a fully balanced interconnect cable, it uses three similar conductors for hot, cold and ground signals. This third conductor allows separate grounding to ensure more important noise reduction than on other standard balanced conceptions using shielding for this purpose.

This screen is considered “floating” and consists of an OFC braid and an aluminium foil. The goal is to reduce electric and electromagnetic noise and interference to the maximum.

Conductors are made of OFHC rigid copper. XLR connectors are gold-plated and assembled via precise manual welding with high content of silver.

Like all products from Transparent, the Musiclink Super Balanced is equipped with a “Network” housing used as a damping element and filter controlling and stabilising the conductors’ resistive, capacitive and induction factors. It allows to eliminate noise and interference.

By the way, it’s more or less sophisticated, effective and imposing depending on the Musiclink cable’s range level.

We have the very dynamic playback from the RCA version; the Transparent The Musiclink Super interconnect cable.

However, we notice a wider soundstage, and deeper and more articulated lower frequencies. Noise level is also much lower.

It provides even more dynamics, stiffness and micro-details than its little brother the Plus Balanced. The soundstage seems wider and more accurate too.

The Transparent Musiclink Super Balanced XLR interconnect cable is an excellent balanced cable to be paired with already effective audio devices.
