Clearaudio Unify Black Carbon tonearm

The Clearaudio Unify tonearm is an extremely versatile and high quality unipivot tonearm. It has been designed for use with a wide range of vinyl turntables and phono cartridges and is available in 3 different sizes: 9, 10 and 12 inches.

Clearaudio Unify Black Carbon: conception

Its unique design is centred around a sapphire unipivot bearing fixed to a hardened steel tip. The bearing housing is made of anti-magnetic steel.

The Unify tonearm tube is made of carbon fibre, giving it remarkable lightness and rigidity.

The polished aluminium headshell is made up of two parts, and the azimuth is easily adjustable using a screw.

The counterweight is eccentric, placing the centre of gravity lower than a standard counterweight.

The anti-skate system consists of the tried and tested conventional counterweight on a string – simple but effective.

The cables transfer the signal continuously from the preamp to the cartridge to minimise losses as much as possible.

Clearaudio Unify Black Carbon: adjustment

The Clearaudio Unify tonearm is delivered as standard with a Linn mount.

But it is also compatible with the Clearaudio VTA-lifter, which can be used to adjust the VTA (height), even during playback.
