The Atlas Equator speaker cable has a 2 mm² section. It uses (Oxygen Free Copper) conductors inside a high density PEF dielectric (insulator). It is much more efficient than PVC and polyethylene that is generally found on this type of product. Furthermore, it has better dynamics and transparency (measured and audible). The conductors are contained in a cotton yarn in order to reduce microphony. The elegant jacket (pearl white) makes for a perfect finish for this Equator speaker cable. It comes in two high quality terminations: gold-plated Zplug banana plugs or great spades, with 24k gold plating. Typically, the terminations are not screwed or welded, they are crimped. This process enables optimum conductivity without adding colouration or causing signal loss.
Let's not beat about the bush! This loudspeaker cable is the surprise of the month… and maybe of the year! It exhibits a natural sound quality with amazing neutrality! The dynamics are excellent and, as always with Atlas, truly authentic. Regardless of the musical style, it is perfectly subtle and very articulate.
This Atlas Equator speaker cable is recommended with all systems lacking neutrality or Hi-Fi speakers with slight over-exaggeration in the top of the spectrum. But it will also magnify neutral systems, without adding unnecessary colouration.
Amazing value for money!
