Description

Designed on the basis of the Oyster, the stylus size is finer, the coils are better quality with a more flexible suspension. This gives it a better frequency response, a superior dynamic range and the least tracking force.

The sound quality of this Sumiko phono cartridge is wide and leans more towards warmth than overdefinition. Yet it remains precise and extremely vibrant. It should also be noted that its relative neutrality allows it to reproduce most musical styles. Although it seems to perform better with Jazz than with Electro or Dark metal!

An excellent cartridge which constitutes a serious contender to Ortofon or even Grado!
