Wireworld Luna 8 interconnect cable

The Wireworld Luna 8 is the second in the range of interconnect cables developed by the US manufacturer. However, it departs from the Terra interconnect cable on a number of key features. The section of the conductors has been increased to 0.2mm2. They have a Dual DNA Helix design. This design uses a helical twisted flat conductor inside the insulator.

The positive conductor and ground run inside separate tubes. They are both made of OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) copper. This increases their life and improves conductivity.

The shielding of the Wireworld Luna 8 cable uses the Composilex 2 technology. It uses a polymer composite insulator exclusively designed to optimise the audio signal, thus reducing Kelvin effects and minimising the noise stemming from traditional insulation materials.

The connectors have a gold and silver plating.
