VPI ADS drive system

VPI's ADS drive system is an adjustable speed controller for VPI vinyl turntables. It was designed by VPI's R&D electronics specialist Michael Bettinger. It includes two pure analogue frequency generators. They generate very little distortion and are silent. A high current Class-A/B amplifier is transformer-coupled to the turntable output. For optimum silence, a logic analogue controller was opted for. All the controls are also fully analogue. They offer 33 and 45 RPM speed adjustment controls with +/- 3% adjustment. All you need to do is set up the ADS drive system between your mains cable and your VPI vinyl turntable. Press the 'Start/Stop' switch on the front panel to run the platter.

A push button selects 33 or 45 RPM operation. It features two separate speed adjustment controls for 33 and 45 RPM. The speed is continuously adjustable to +/- 3 Hz.

The combination with this VPI ADS drive system is quite amazing! Playback is more precise with greater dynamics. It's as if a veil has been lifted… The soundstage is more precise. The sound seems more stable and more obvious with amazing consistency! Would recommend!
