This Atlas cable is offered in 3 terminations in order to be connected to most of the tonearms offering the possibility to change the phono cable.

Therefore, you can get it with stereo RCA connectors, a straight Din or an angled DIN. All these connectors are among the Ultra range.

ATLAS MAVROS ULTRA TT: CHARACTERISTICS

The Mavros Ultra TT offers low mass, resistance and capacitance. The sheath is made of PTFE (Teflon) and the contacts are self-cleaning. Like all Atlas cables, the contacts are cold-crimped.

The Mavros Ultra uses a single-braided center conductor surrounded by 6 groups of 12 interlaced Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) wires. This process was developed by Pr.Ohna, from Chiba Institute of Technology. It allows the production of very high purity monograin copper or silver.

The insulation of the Mavros Ultra is designed with a highly porous Teflon tape wrapped directly around the bare OCC cables, then covered with an extruded Polyethylene to ensure the protection of the whole unit. This new technique provides better conductors holding as well as a much wider bandwidth than on previous versions.

This phono cable is delivered with an excellent ground cable equipped with small forks on its ends.

As with all Atlas cables, we are not here in search of neutrality or total transparency.

The Mavros Ultra TT clearly favors matter and tone. It offers a lot of depth and width to the restitution. The bass is present and pretty simple, which gives a beautiful feeling of space and sound scene.

The articulation, natural and nuance are nice. The Atlas Mavros Ultra TT gives an outstanding presence in the midrange and a treble perfectly integrated to the other registers.
