Goldring's ELEKTRA has been a best buy for many years. For cost reasons, it is made in Japan in keeping with strict specifications. It comes with an elliptical stylus and an aluminium cantilever. The output level is among the highest in this range for a Hi-Fi cartridge. The sound is punchy, precise and the sound stage is slightly wider than its competitors… It seems ideal to upgrade an entry-level turntable without spending too much. Just can't recommend it enough!
