Description

A new Thorens product is always quite an event! The TD 203 encompasses the manufacturer's expertise! It remotely looks like a TD 206, but the resemblance stops there. It only uses its motor and drive circuit. The rest, i.e. the platter, tonearm and cartridge, are specific to this new product. The TP 82 tonearm is new to Thorens. It's a unipivot! The spindle comprises 5 ball bearings and is supported by a carbide tip. The tube is made of hardened aluminium. It comes as standard with a moving magnet cartridge. The aluminium platter has been replaced by a black acrylic platter. It features two playback speeds: 33 and 45 RPM.

This Thorens TD 203 turntable is very competitively-priced! It delivers Thorens' musicality at an affordable price. The sound quality is punchy and very open. The transparency is impressive and the articulation is spectacular.

We highly recommended it!
