REGA Bias 2 MM cartridge for RP1 turntables

As with all REGA cartridges, this Bias II  MM cartridge is hand-built using optimised and brand-specific generator coiling techniques. This BIAS for RP1, Planar 1 and Planar 2 turntable is cast in an industrial polymer known as 'Pocan', which is harder than aluminium and more neutral than some alloys.

Unlike other conventional Hi-Fi cartridge models, no rubber seal is used. The mounting tolerance between the moving magnet and pole pieces is only 0.25 mm against 0.7 mm for competitor products. The weight of this Bias cartridge for RP1, Planar 1 and Planar 2 has been optimised for the RB 101 tonearm, the tonearm of Rega's RP1 turntable, as well as for the tonearm of Rega's Planar 1 and that of the Rega Planar 2.

It is factory-fitted to the REGA PLANAR 1 Performance Pack.

The sound quality is great and the tonal balance is a perfect match for the RP1, the Planar 1 and Planar 2. Reproduction is dynamic, vibrant and detailed.
