Roksan Attessa integrated amplifier

The new Roksan Attessa range allows to democratise the British manufacturer’s sound and quality.

The Roksan Attessa integrated amplifier is the most affordable amplifier proposed by Roksan. Yet it offers almost everything one would expect from a “modern” amplifier!

The very sober front is made of black or natural anodised aluminium. The solid steel chassis offers a perfect rigidity and a high-quality feeling.

On the centre of the integrated amplifier , there’s a large volume potentiometer which also selects the sources when pushed. The selected source appears on an orange Oled display window.

The connection panel is provided with 2 analogue inputs as well as an MM phono input.

The digital section offers 2 optical and 2 coaxial inputs. The Roksan Attessa is also equipped with an aptX BT receiver.

There’s also a pre-out output to provide the preamplifier signal for multiroom functions or for a subwoofer.

On the left, we can find the speaker terminals compatible with banana connectors or bare wire.

ROKSAN ATTESSA INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER: TESTING AND LISTENING

We have here the manufacturer’s sound and reproduction. Even though it is clearly not at the same level than the Roksan K3 integrated amplifier, the Attessa offers a nice musicality without aggressiveness and excessive clarity.

We have here the softness and timbre quality from Roksan devices. The 2 x 80 W at 8 ohms are clearly present and allow to drive almost every Hi-Fi speaker  pair from 1,000 to 2,500 euros.

Roksan’s initiative to democratise their amplifier range is to be commended. To top it all, it was done without impacting the brand’s musicality and identity! Everything on this integrated amplifier was perfectly designed, there’s even a version with a network player supplied with the Roksan Attessa streaming amplifier for the most demanding customers.
