The French importer Musikae<\/a> and the Japanese manufacturer Excel Sound Corporation of Hana cartridges<\/a> recently sent us a small surprise all the way from Japan! Indeed, we received the prototype of a new cartridge, the Hana ML,<\/strong> in order to test this cartridge in our auditorium and get our opinion on this new cartridge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Presentation of the Hana ML cartridge<\/h2>\n

These last years, the Japanese brand Hana<\/strong> has made a name for itself on the Hi-Fi market thanks to its phono cartridges of high quality. These cartridges have been rewarded several times!<\/p>\n

Specialized in the manufacturing of MC cartridges, the brand Hana currently has five cartridges available: the Hana EH<\/a>, the Hana SH<\/a>, the Hana EL<\/a>, the Hana SL<\/a>, and the Hana SL Mono<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As mentioned above, the Hana ML cartridge<\/strong> (stands for MicroLine Low) is currently only a prototype. This cartridge is still being designed and optimized by the Japanese manufacturer. This is why there currently is not a lot of information on the Hana ML cartridge.<\/p>\n

\"Prototype<\/p>\n

Although this cartridge does not yet have Hana\u2019s silkscreen brand logo<\/strong>, it partially has the same appearance as other Hana Hi-Fi cartridges<\/strong>. However, this cartridge has slightly more rounded shapes. This Hana ML cartridge is also black just like the Hana SH and Hana EH cartridges. We can immediately recognize Hana\u2019s signature!<\/p>\n

Testing the Hana ML cartridge<\/h2>\n

Franck, our product expert, had the honor of being asked by the Japanese manufacturer to test the prototype of this Hana ML cartridge<\/strong> in our auditorium<\/a> in Rennes, France.<\/p>\n

To listen to this cartridge in the best conditions possible, Franck tested it on the Pro-Ject Signature 10 turntable<\/a> with the Pro-Ject Phono Box RS phono preamplifier<\/a>.<\/p>\n
